Call of Duty: Warzone (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
The Call of Duty series finally re-entered the battle royale world with Warzone, a free-to-play mode tied to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In the Warzone edition of battle royale, the standard 100-person limit is increased to 150 to fit the three-person team set-up. Any familiarity with game mechanics, weapons, rewards, and loadouts from Call of Duty will serve you here well. Although you do not need Modern Warfare to play Warzone, in their battle royale loadouts, players who have been playing at the regular version can use weapon skins and modifications.
Warzone’s 1v1 gulag battles are one exciting addition to the battle royale scene. You are captured and sent to the gulag if you die early in a match, where you can win another chance at survival by outplaying another lost player. You’re left with just a pistol when you respawn, so get ready to loot yourself again.
