You won many Victory Royales on Fortnite Island, but can you secure a chicken dinner for yourself? Each PUBG match begins with 100 players jumping onto a giant, deserted island with nothing but shirts on their backs from a cargo plane. The map is enormous and it takes a long time to explore, so when you get gunned down without seeing your opponent, it is particularly brutal. There are no architectural mechanics to protect you here — you could find yourself in the final safe zone trying to locate the smallest bit of cover beside a small boulder or bush. Although each battle royale is crucial to the shrinking safe zone, PUBG also contains dangerous red zones and dynamically selected map areas bombed during the game. Don’t get trapped in one.
