Genshin Impact by HoYoverse is a vast and remarkable experience that no other game has even matched. It is still one of the most popular Android games today (at least not yet). The Genshin Impact concert cost a lot of money to produce, but the results have been worth it ever since it debuted in 2020. The HoYoverse team is excellent because they can always develop creative ways to seamlessly integrate people into Teyvat while providing a diverse array of companions for your adventures. What steps do you take to add extra characters to your party? We’ve posted a character recruitment guide today to assist you in building up your team.
Obtaining Free Characters
The good news is that new players will not have to pay any money to assemble a capable party at the start of the game. By completing the main mission, players will have enough characters to field a complete four-person squad, in addition to the game’s main character. When first starting in Genshin Impact, it’s a good idea to complete the introductory Archon task to build up your team before diving into the game’s open-world adventure.
In addition to the basic characters earned during the tale of Genshin Impact, there are two additional free teammates you may recruit by achieving specific objectives. Barbara is the first of them, a healer with water-based skills who is a welcome addition to any group. To unlock Barbara, players must gain Adventure Rank 18 and finish the A Long Shot quest. Nearly everything in Genshin Impact earns players progress toward their Adventure Rank, from completing objectives to uncovering treasure chests, and the rewards come swiftly at the beginning of the game.
How to Find New Recruits
As you progress through the first arcane mission, you will automatically recruit characters (main story). Check out our checklist below.
- Amber (bow, pyro): After Pymon, he is the second character presented; you’ll receive Ember inside the first ten minutes of playing.
- Kaya (Sword, Cryo): The third candidate for hiring will be Kayya. You can guarantee that you won’t miss Kaya by completing the “Crash Course” quest, which is one of a series of introductory missions.
- Lisa (Electro, Catalyst): You must first complete the Prologue quest series’ ‘Sparks Among the Page’ task before you may find Lisa.
- Noel (Claymore, Geo) can be omitted. You’ll discover how wishing works once you’ve earned the ability to wish (using the Gacha system). You have assured Noel in your first 10 wishes if you wish on the opening banner (up to 20 requests, 14 wishes at a discount).
- Barbara (catalyst, hydro): If you complete the quest “A Long Shot” and gain Adventure Rank 18, Barbara will join your team.
- Jiangling (Poliarum, Pyro): After reaching Adventure Rank 20, Spiral Abyss will become available. Clear Floor 3, Room 3, and then bring in Xiangling from the Spiral Abyss event’s “People’s Choice” competition.
Purchasing characters using Masterless Starglitter
You may purchase characters from Paimon’s shop for Masterless Starglitter. Masterless Starglitter may only be earned if you have duplicate characters and weapons (four and five-star rarity only).
Participating in activities
Events are time-limited missions. Pre-requisites, such as being a specified Adventure Rank, completing some world missions, and performing certain actions in the Archon quest, are frequently required before taking them on. Playing through events may result in acquiring a weapon (and its improvements) or a character duplicate.
Characters may be unlocked via Fate
To access further characters, players must spend Fate in-game money. You can use a Fate in the game’s Wish menu at any moment to acquire a randomly selected character or object. Acquaint Fate, and Intertwined Fate are two types of Fate that can be employed to try to win from various pools of characters and weapons.
The most common form of payment is Acquaint Fate, which enables users to make a wish on a Standard Wish Banner for a chance to win one of the game’s numerous characters or items. Additionally, Acquaint Fate may be applied to a unique Beginners’ Wish Banner, enabling brand-new players to choose two sets of ten randomly chosen characters or weapons at a 20 percent discount, costing merely 16 Acquaint Fate for a total of 20 characters or weapons. Noelle, a high-defense character with healing abilities, may be obtained using 10 Wishes on the Beginners’ Wish Banner.
You can employ Intertwined Fates on Character Event Wish Banners to increase your chances of winning certain high-level characters from a pool that changes frequently. Remember that every request might result in weapons or characters, so it might take a few tries to receive any new characters.
