Today, all you see are AI adaptations of TV shows: Family Guy has been made into a strange live-action sitcom.
With content producers feeding the artificial intelligence engine more and more each day, 2023 is the year of artificial intelligence in all its forms from the get-go.
As we get closer to the creation of Skynet, people can’t stop producing AI artwork and photographs. At first glance, they seem remarkably realistic… That is, until you look closer, they have 12 fingers, 25 teeth, evil eyes, and other oddities.
Another example of someone being so focused on whether or not they could that they forgot to think about whether or not they should is the transformation of Family Guy into a 1980s sitcom.
Family Guy becomes an ’80s sitcom thanks to AI
The video, uploaded to YouTube by Lyrical Realms, has the Family Guy theme song and the opening titles for a live-action Family Guy.
It’s still being determined who the characters in the film are based on for their real-life stars, except Chris Griffin, who unmistakably resembles Chris Farley. Brian is a typical golden Labrador as well.
One user joked, “Damn Lois, this is weirder than the time we were converted into an 80s comedy by an AI,” about the video’s nearly two million views.
Others have stated that Family Guy’s characters are “freakishly lifelike,” while others have remarked that “AI made them have way too many fingers… totally great.”
“I find it strange how it makes me feel nostalgic. This has never happened before! “another wrote. Another person added, “AI machine learning is getting crazier and crazier, and then having extra digits makes it even more alternate universe-esque. This indeed seemed like peering into an alternate dimension.
