A Massively Multiplier Online game (MMO) with an epic title, King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare, implies a lot of dragon fights. But all you get is one dragon, necessity to build a city and create an army to fight against your enemies.
During the game, you will have a big choice of buildings to construct, including military tents and hospitals, farms, and even an embassy. You will train soldiers while unlocking up to ten types of cavalry, infantry, and bowmen. Also, you will build a university where you will plan battle tactics, finances, and defense.
To be able to update buildings and the skills of your army, you will need resources. You can get it from selling the food you are growing on the farm or fighting against other towns, or by beating your enemies, and many more. Also, you can collect different items, such as scrolls, and later produce the weapons for your army.
If you want to have a real enjoyment during the King of Avalon game, don’t forget to take part in an alliance. This alliance will allow you to cooperate with other players to build an enormous empire and get more resources for different updates. Also, don’t worry that you will have only one dragon.
You can update your level to get more skills.
But what a real disappointment is that the game doesn’t let you apply your strategic skills. Besides, the scenes of battles are too simple. All you can do is to bring your army to the location of an enemy where you will watch a fight without any means to conduct your army or do anything. The winning will only depend on having the needed level of the army powers.
It is important to mention that this is a free MMO game. It is a bit slow in updating the buildings or your army, getting resources to fight against your enemies, etc. You can make it faster by timer speed-ups or by spending gold, which is available in the game and through IAP.
Another letdown is that there are only two available builders in the game. The first builder you get for free, and another one you can use for a limited time if you buy him with your gold or use some gained update.
Summary
Don’t expect to get a lot of heroic battles or improve your strategic skills with King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare. But if you like MMO games where you can collaborate with other players by taking part in an alliance, you will definitely enjoy this game. Also, you will be amazed by the number of updates available.
